Pitztal Glacier
Enjoy skiing at 3,400m above sea level
As the highest glacier skiing area in Austria, the Pitztal Glacier offers real snow reliability and fantastic skiing from September to May. 28km of piste for all abilities, a carving parcour, great racing pistes for national teams, a fun park for snowboarders as well as a nursery slope for beginners and Bambinis distinguish the glacier skiing area! Tip for cross-country skiers: there is an 8km long, absolutely snow-sure high-altitude track on the glacier!
Two skiing areas, one ski pass
Through the collaboration with the near-by Rifflsee skiing area, there is now even more diversity and a chance to enjoy skiing with just one ski pass. The family-friendly Rifflsee skiing area offers a further 20km of piste. Family friendliness is of the utmost importance in the Pitztal: with the “Bambini-Freipass”, children under ten can ski for free when they are accompanied by a parent! Enjoy a skiing holiday in Austria!
