Hochzeiger skiing area
The Hochzeiger adventure
Whether it’s skiing, boarding, free-riding or tobogganing – the Hochzeiger has much to offer in the winter: 54 km of piste, its own free-ride area, an endurance race course with a speed trap, a mountain restaurant and much more. This is also the training area for Benni Raich and the ÖSV-technician team! Family friendliness is of the utmost importance in the Pitztal: with the “Bambini-Freipass”, children under ten can ski for free when they are accompanied by a parent!
A first-rate skiing area
In 2010, the Hochzeiger skiing area is able to offer some exciting new developments: modernised lifts as well as a new panorama run, snow cannons capable of covering large areas and much more. Considerations have also been made for extra comfort: chair lifts now have heated seats and weather protection bubbles. The many improvements have earned the Hochzeiger skiing area the accolade of “climber of the year” by the ADAC-skiing guide. The skiing area was also awarded the Tyrolean region “piste and snowboarding seal of quality”!
