Summer activities in the Pitztal
The Pitztal also has plenty of leisure activities on offer during your summer holiday.
Kneipp therapy and swimming
If you like swimming, be it in a swimming pool or a lake, Pitztal has both. You can either use the heated outdoor swimming pool at Wenns leisure centre or the Stillebach Lake in St. Leonhard. Stillebach is home to Pitztal Water World, the idyllic Klockele Water Falls and a bathing lake with a large sunbathing area where you can lie back and relax. If you want to improve your circulation and general health there are also Kneipp facilities (hand, foot and stepping pools).
Riding

Tennis
There are several options for playing tennis in the Pitztal:
- Tennis court at Arzl leisure centre
- Tennis court by Ferienhof Raich in Arzl – Leins (available to all guests on request)
- Tennis facility at Wenns leisure centre
- With 2 clay courts and 2 flood-lit Astroturf outdoor courts
- Tennis court in the Hotel Wildspitze in Mandarfen, St. Leonhard
- Tennis court in the Hotel Gletscherblick in Mittelberg, St. Leonhard

Trend Sports in the Pitztal – Rafting, Canyoning and Kayaking
The Pitztal also has something in store for outdoor fans! In the nearby Tyrolean Oberland holiday region, there are white water courses and narrow gorges for sports such as rafting, canyoning and kayaking. Trained rafting and canyoning guides will accompany you on such activities. Discover the Imst gorge – the most popular rafting course in Europe. It’s also possible to kayak and go canyoning in the Pitztal itself. All tours can be booked directly with the
